Large-Area Seamless Decoration Created by Mirror Stainless Steel

2025-11-12
In October 2025, the implementation of an 1,800㎡ seamless mirror stainless steel wall in the renovation project of the National Exhibition and Convention Center became an industry benchmark case. The project used stainless steel thin plates with a thickness of 0.3-1.2mm as the base material, and achieved a mirror effect with a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.01μm through a combined process of "mechanical polishing + chemical polishing". Its reflectivity is close to the high-grade mirror standard, while meeting architectural requirements such as fire resistance, moisture resistance, and deformation resistance.
This material application continues the "space-shaping capability" of stainless steel decoration: In the multi-functional hall of the convention center, the mirror wall expands the visual space through light reflection; the elevator cabs are customized with the same material, which is similar in concept to the stainless steel edging design of the Louis Vuitton flagship store in Amsterdam — both use the metallic luster and ductility to enhance the spatial delicacy. According to the data from Tuba Tu Decoration Network in the same period, the application volume of mirror stainless steel in residential scenarios increased by 67% year-on-year, realizing a leap from "local embellishment" (such as door frame edging and bathroom storage racks) to "overall decoration" (such as TV background walls).
